I love being an endodontist. Every day I meet people who are in pain, sometimes excruciating pain that affects all parts of their lives, and I’m able to move them out of that. Being able to make an immediate and lasting change in a person’s quality of life, to see a person going from being miserable to smiling in relief, is a wonderful experience. I am lucky to play a role in making that happen, every day!
It’s a pleasure to work one-to-one with patients. I enjoy listening to their side of the situation, learning what’s happening from their point of view and what they want done. Together, using their goals and my clinical findings and experience, we determine the best approach to solving their problem. I can’t imagine a more fulfilling profession. — Dr. Adam J. Lane
Central Carolina Endodontics
The doctors and staff at Central Carolina Endodontics share a “patient first” approach to care. Each wants to make sure patients feel welcome, safe, comfortable, and fully informed of their situation and care options. They believe in clear communication, patient education, and personalized treatment for the strongest results and happiest smiles.
Education and Continuing Education
Dr. Lane graduated from the University of California School of Dentistry with his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Then he completed the Fort Gordon Advanced Education in Endodontics program.
Dr. Lane’s commitment to learning didn’t end with his post-doctoral studies. He knows that ongoing advances in techniques and materials, along with new technologies, benefit his patients.
In addition to completing many hours of continuing education each year, Dr. Lane serves as an endodontic mentor at Fort Jackson through the residency for Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD-1). He stays current on endodontic research and trends in order to present that information to the residents. He is also able to apply that knowledge to his own treatment protocols. This ensures his patients receive the best care for their specific endodontic needs.
